| Abstract: | Network attached storage enables high speed data transfers directly between storage subsystem and third party. Today, Personal computers face an issue: How to download data from network without interrupting normal operations. That is, satisfied with the requirement to get lots of data from high performance network. In the paper a new logical network storage system structure is discussed, which can alleviate workload of mainframe and improve system bandwidth. At the same time, the implementation methods of the logical network storage and a prototype system also are discussed in this paper. |
