| Abstract: | With more and more electronic texts available, more efficient retrieva l tools are required. This article describes the design and implementation of a Chinese information retrieval system Infolite. It is both an experimental sys tem that serves as a working platform for research on information retrieval, and a component store for the development of practical retrieval systems. |
