| Abstract: | This paper discusses the definition of the scalable parallel algorithms,the objective of researching scalability,and the different metrics for scalable parallel algorithms in order to understand the best algorithm-architecture combination, to maximize possible speed up and efficiency for parallel algorithms, and to predict the performance of a parallel algorithm for a large number of processors from the kllown performance on fewer processors. |
