Abstract:The nonlinear states equations of STATCOM is proposed based on Kirchhoff Law and decoupled model of STATCOM's active and reactive current is obtained via feedback linearization method.Moreover,controller for the decoupled model is designed by utilizing pole placement method of modern control theory.To achieve fast dynamic control of reactive power,reactive current of line is obtained for the reference of STATCOM based on instantaneous reactive power theory.The accuracy and validity of the proposed control s...
