Research of Network Model Adapt to QoS Routing Mechanism

As an important component in the framework of integrated service model mentioned by IETF, QoS routing problem has been paid attention to more and more. In terms of multi metrics, QoS routing algorithms want to find an optimum path with correlated QoS to satisfy required delay, jitter, bandwidth and loss rate. This paper studies and analyzes the relationship among multi metrics, and presents a new network model that can describe the network characteristic in network layer. This model is convenient to calculate and translate metrics, and can be unified with resource reservation.
