| Abstract: | In this paper,starting from analyzing the environments of optimization based control of indus-trial processes,a new control concept, satisfactory control,is proposed in accordance with the characteristics of complex industrial processes and the demands of the users. The basic scheme of satisfactory control is pre-sented and its suitability to complex industrial environments is analyzed. |
