A Survey of Research on Neural Network Sliding Mode Variable Structure Control

A survey on the current research combining the neural network control with sliding mode variable structure control is introduced, which emphasizes on the method that neural network improves the performance of sliding mode variable structure system from the point of view of neural network application modes in sliding mode variable structure control. Their features are considered respectively and the relationships among them are analyzed. Further more, research tendencies in this field are discussed.
