| Abstract: | This paper elaborates on the firewall mechanism in Linux 2.4 kernelE-inamed netfilter and gives the analysis of its scheme and implementation . The concept of dynamic Network Address Translation in Linux is also discussed . A brief introduction and an example are given to how to write a module for netfilter architecture to expand our own Linux firewall. |
