Abstract:According to the analysis of the status of the coal mine underground wireless communication, a suggestion of using Chirp-UWB wireless communication system for coal mine underground communication was proposed. Chirp-UWB wireless communication technology and its digital characteristics were introduced. And a conclusion was gained: Chirp-BOK UWB signals have lower error rate than 2-PPM UWB signals at the same SNR condition. The feasibility in underground Chirp-UWB system was discussed. It was obviously necessary to make the research of the propagation characteristic of UWB in coal mine tunnel for adopting UWB wireless communication system in coal mine underground.
