摘    要:空间关系形式化模型的发展是空间推理、地理信息系统(GIS)、机器人导航等领域的一个非常重要的研究内容,近年来受到相关领域研究者的极大重视。空间对象的方向关系模型的研究已经取得了一定的进展。本文介绍了近年来空间对象的方向关系形式化模型的主要研究内容、研究方法和研究进展,对已有的方向关系模型做了比较,并探讨了目前存在的问题和今后的发展方向。

Abstract:The development of formal models of spatial relations is an important topic in spatial reasoning, geographic information system(GIS) and robot navigation, and has gained much attention from researchers during the recent years. Progress has been made in the models of directional relations between spatial objects. The primary research contents, methods and advancements of formal models for directional relations between spatial objects are introduced, and comparison among various existing models of directional relation is made at the same time. Existent problems and future research directions are also discussed.
