| Abstract: | In this paper, the application of case- based reasoning in an automobile fault diagnosis expert system is discussed. The representation of a case that involving the uncertainty as well as the storage and the retrieval is investigated. Moreover, both the estimating algorithm of similarity and the case- based reasoning algorithm of a case are proposed. |
