摘    要:IEEE 802.11网络中,多速率现象会导致性能异常现象的发生.通常在MAC层解决这个问题的办法,一是改变初始竞争窗口的大小,二是改变帧的大小.首先分析了性能异常现象产生的原因,接着介绍如何在NS2下进行相关的仿真实验.仿真结果表明,这两种方法都能减缓性能异常现象的产生.

Abstract:Multi-rate may cause performance anomaly in IEEE 802.11 networks.Usual solutions for the anomaly executed on MAC layer are initial contention window size adaptation or frame size adaptation.In this paper,we explain the causes of the performance anomaly,and then introduce the corresponding experiments of simulation with NS2 networks simulator.Simulation results show that both of these two adaptations can reduce the performance anomaly.
