| 摘 要： | 机顶盒是近年来迅速发展的新兴技术，很多国家都将其作为未来计算机和电子工业发展的重点，文中讨论了用于数字电视接收机的机顶盒的主要技术，涉及的标准，机顶盒采用的操作系统和软件结构，并分析了几种典型的机顶盒结构。同时还讨论了ＳＴＢ发展对计算技术的影响以及未来机顶盒技术的发 趋势，指出集电视节目接收，ＤＶＤ，Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ服务，游戏机为一体的机顶盒将是未来机顶盒的发展方向。

| Abstract: | Set top box (STB) is an emergent technology in recent years, and a lot of countries take it as the new growing point of their computers and electronic industry. Here discussed are the major technologies for STB, the standard used in STB, operating system, and the structure of the software. In addition, some typical STB's structures are also given. Also pointed out are the effects on computing technology and chip's trends along with the development of the digital television receiver. It is thought that the STB which gets all the functions of TV receiver, DVD, Internet service, and game player together will be popular in the future. |
