摘    要:故障注入(FI)是一种有效的测试和评价容错机制(FTM)的方法,可被普遍应用于容错计算机系统开发过程的各个阶段中。FI技术正确的更广泛的应用依赖于对FI原理的一致理解。文中首先详细讨论了FI的应用对象即FTM在测评中所表现出来的若干下,在此基础上提出了六元组描述的FI模型,并对各组成元的属性进行了深入分析。同时,作为FI模型的具体应用过程,文中给出了FI独立试验算法(FI-IEA),并讨论了该算法

Abstract:Fault injection(FI) is a powerful method for the testing and evaluation of fault tolerance mechanisms(FTMs), which may widely be used during all phases of the development of fault tolerant computer systems. The technique of FI cannot be applied correctly and widely unless it is based on a consistent understanding of FI philosophy. FTM is the application object of FI and its characteristics as seen in testing and evaluation processes are discussed in detail. And then an FI model is described as a 6 tuple. The attributes of each factor are deeply analyzed. As the actual application process of the FI model, an FI independent experiment algorithm(FI IEA) is presented at the same time, and some key problems on how to implement the algorithm are discussed.
