| Abstract: | On the basis of defining some related terms, this paper proposes a novel stroke extraction method for Chinese characters based on distance and gives out the experiment results. The results indicate that the proposed method not only is efficient and available but also builds stable basis for the subsequent Chinese characters processing based on strokes. |
