Geospatial Information Fusion and Implementation of Geocoding Database

The essential characteristic of geospatial information is its distribution in regional space. We can identify the geospatial information through administrative layout, natural geographic region, reference framework, toponym, address and some kinds of number, such as postal code and telephone number. This article expatiates the function of Geocoding Database in realizing geospatial information fusion and share. Then this article proposes that it can relate or associate geospatial information with non-geospatial information using geocoding technology through address element contained in geospatial information. In the end, the system configuration and strategy for realizing Geocoding Database are discussed.
