基于PCI总线的高速高精度实时数据采集系统

摘    要:在射频频谱分析和宽带调制测量中,需要实时采集处理高速的中频数字化信号,其A/D变换精度和数据传输速率是制约系统测量性能的基本因素。在某型射频测量仪器研发设计过程中,对这个问题进行了研究,提出了一种基于PCI总线数据采集系统的设计方案,还比较深入的介绍了在Windows 98/2000/XP平台上WMD设备驱动程序的编写方法。采集系统包括模拟输入、A/D变换、数据缓存、数据DMA传输及PCI总线接口等电路。目前,系统已经达到顶期的设计目标,并解决了数据传输的瓶颈问题,使后续数字信号实时分析处理、分析测试成为可能。实践证明,对于低成本高速实时数据采集,基于PCI总线的系统是首选。

Abstract:The accuracy and speed of A/D conversion of IF digitization subsystem are key to system performance in RF spectrum analysis and wide-band modulation measurement. In researching and designing a kind of RF instrument a data acquisition system based on PCI bus is presented, and WMD device driver programming on the platform of Windows 98/2000/XP is introduced. The data acquisition system includes analog input, A/D conversion, data buffering, DMA transferring and PCI interface. At present, the system achieves expectant design objective and breaks the bottle-neck of data transmission, enabling the following data signal processing and measurement. In fact, a system based on PCI is the best choice for low-cost and high-speed data acquisition.
