基于DP83640的IEEE 1588应用研究

摘    要:IEEE 1588协议具有同步精度高、运算消耗小、无需专用设备、实现方式灵活等技术优势,已广泛应用于分布式控制、无线通信、数字化变电站等领域。采用软、硬件相结合的架构,以物理层芯片DP83640实现IEEE 1588底层功能,以应用软件实现协议上层应用,并设计和封装了同步配置、定时触发、事件时间戳、秒脉冲等应用接口,对IEEE 1588的实用化具有重要意义。

Abstract:IEEE 1588 precise time protocol,which has advantages in high synchronous precision,low computation consumption,flexible in realization as well as working without special instruments,has been widely used in the fields of distributed control systems,digital substations,wireless communications,etc.Using the architecture combining hardware and software,the low-level functions in DP83640 are implemented and upper protocol applications in application software are achieved.The design also packages APIs of synchronous configuring,time-based triggering,event-based timestamp,second-level pulse,etc.,which may play an important role on true utilization of IEEE 1588.
