Testing on web services response time

With the development of technology,web services(WS) is applied extensively and new testing technology is needed to make WS highly reliable and run effectively.The response time of WS is one of the most intuitive parameters by which users evaluate QoS(quality of service) of WS.WSDL is parsered based on Apache Axis,test cases is obtained by classification tree method(CTM) and real-time testing of WS,different WS testing in different web,load testing of WS and average response time testing of WS are im-plemented.Test results indicate the software is stable to run and can elevate the Qos of WS.Finally,further problems are discussed in-cluding authorization testing and testing of several web services in the fields and the development trends.
