| Abstract: | On the basis of analysing the demerits brought up by the traditional PPPOE and Web/Portal, a new authentication through applying 802.1x protocol for campus network is introduced. 802.1x protocol is a security framework based on port for the network access. Applied to the campus network, 802.1x will effectively prevent pretending MAC and IP address of others, so can solve the security problems of authentication and the terminals. |
