| Abstract: | This paper specifies a framework of the development of real time multimedia applications providing dynamic control of quality of service. It separates multimedia server from Web server to improve elasticity to deal with multimedia information. Clients adopts RTSP to set up and control multimedia session, Servers adopt RTP to transfer multimedia data,RTCP to monitor multimedia Qos and dynamically modify transmission rate and encode mode, reduce network congestion and data loss. At the same time, this paper specifies a Plug in application framework in Clients dealing with multimedia data stream and an mechanism controlling the quality of the transmission in Servers. |
