| Abstract: | A failure detection scheme is proposed for linear time-invariant large scale systems. The full -order unknown input observers are constructed to estimate the local states, the local state estimators ..(unknown input observers) do not need any global information. The residuals of these observers are applied to failure detection for subsystems. An attractive property of the proposed scheme is an esay failure isolation, which locates the failure within the level of subsystems. |
