VPN准入系统与路由器的传输性能仿真测试比较

摘    要:VPN系统数据传输过程,需要加密、解密,建立隧道等操作。为了测试自建的VPN准入系统传输性能,搭建了简化的仿真测试模型,利用网络业务和性能测试软件Chariot,与同配置试验机器搭建的路由器(基于相同版本的LINUX系统),进行了网络传输性能对比试验。在测试结果中发现:VPN系统采用的UDP传输协议较路由模式采用的TCP协议在大量数据传输时能体现高效特点。在某些特定的应用中,可以取代路由器和NAT设备,提高网络传输的安全性。

Abstract:VPN system data transmission process, need for encryption and decryption, establishes the tunnel operation. In order to test the establishment of VPN access system transmission performance, the authors set up a simplified simulation model, using the network services and performance test software Chariot, with the same configuration testing machine build router ( based on the same version of the LINUX system ), a network transmission performance comparison test. In the test results found that: VPN system using the UDP transmission protocol are routing mode of TCP protocol used in the transmission of large amounts of data can reflect the characteristic of high efficiency. In certain applications, can replace the router and NAT equipment, improve the network transmission security.
