摘    要:传统Internet网络主要是以文本传输为基础而设计的,只能进行少量数据的有效传输,它的固有架构等特点使其难以实现大量的视/音频数据的有效传输。流媒体技术在多媒体信息传输方案、传送/接收系统机制、编码/解码机制和协议等方面与传统多媒体传输技术都有着很大的差别,能满足人们对多媒体视/音频信息的实时、高品质的传输要求,从而能提供更好的服务质量(QoS)。流媒体系统设计目前主要有两大研究方向:基于IP的流媒体系统和基于唧的流媒体系统;两者最终目的都是建立三网舍一的多媒体综合业务智能网络。

Abstract:Traditional Internet is mainly designed for text transmission, and it can only do well in the transmission of little amount of data.It is its inhere framework that makes it hard to transmit large media data efficiently. Media stream technology has great difference with the traditional multimedia transmission method in the multimedia transmission scheme, sending /receiving mechanism, coding / decoding method and corresponding protocols. So it is able to satisfy people's demands such as real-time and high quality of the multimfldia transmission, thus can provide better quality of service. Media stream system design has two main research directions: one is media stream system based on IP( Internet Protocol) and the other is media stream system based on MP( Medianet stream Protocol). The common ultimate purpose is to build the three-nets-in-one synthetic intelligent multimedia network.
