| Abstract: | EBCOT is a new image compression algorithm.Its performance is better than the former ones.In this paper,the principle of its excellent performance is illustrated and made more clearly in comparison with SPIHT algorithm.At the end of this paper,the compression capability of EBCOT is shown with the presentation of experimental data. |
