Analysis and Research on Network Intrusion Detection System

Intrusion detection system is the second security gate placed behind the firewall,which can simultaneously detect the malicious attacks from external network and internal sabotage, so gets the attention and study. From the intrusion detection system concept,this paper has discussed the intrusion detection system function, model and architecture, carefully studied the detection technology of intrusion detection system, combining with the current problems of the intrusion detection system, introduces the distribution, automation and intelligence are the development direction of the intrusion detection technology.
