| Abstract: | This paper deals with the problem of face detection for applied vision. We introduce two difference picture based algorithms: scanning algorithm and profile projection algorithm. They are effective, reliable, and quasi real time algorithms. Experiment results show that they can be promising solutions to the face detection problem for applied vision systems as automatic face input procedure. |
