| Abstract: | In this paper, a vertex removal algorithm based multiple resolution model representation is presented,which effectively utilises the coherence of adjacent levels of detail and only records the differences between these levels,leading to an economical storge mechanism. It can be used for LOD display, incremental transmission over a network and mesh compression. |
