彩色图象三维DCT变换压缩编码

由于彩色图象是以三分量形式表示的，因此在对其进行压缩编码时不仅要考虑它在空间，结构等方面上的冗余信息，还应充分利用各分量间的相关性。此文提出了一种彩色图象三维矩阵表示模型的三维ＤＣＴ变换压缩编码方法。

Compression Coding of Color Image via 3D DCT Transform

Due to the 3 components representation of a color image, it's essential that we should not only take into account the spatial and structural redundancies,but also fully exploit the spectral correlations present in color image data. In this paper, we present a 3D DCT algorithm for the compression coding of color image, which is based on 3D matrix model. All the color image components are jointly transform compressed and the redundancies are effectively reduced. Simulation results demonstrate good quality reproduction and high compression ratio of this method, which is also simple and convenient.
