摘    要:IP组播是将数据分发给一组参与者的非常有效的通信方式,有着廉价、高效的特点。组播网络监测对于增强组播性能、安全具有重要意义。为此,本文分析了组播监测的需求和功能要求,开发了组播监测系统MUL-Monitor,能够有效监测网络和组播应用。其结构包括收集处理数据模块、数据传输模块、分析模块、可视化模块。针对端到端组播监测的需求,MUL-Monitor支持多管理域,采用主动和被动相结合的端到端组播监测机制。测试和试用表明,能够满足组播网络和应用监测的基本需求。

Abstract:IP multicast is a useful communication method of distributing data to participators,and is cheap and efficient.Monitoring is very important to the enhancement of the performance and security of IP multicast.This paper analyzes the requirements of IP multicast monitoring,and develops an IP multicast monitoring system,MUL-Monitor,which can efficiently monitor network and multicast applications.This system includes data collecting and handling module,data transmission module,analyzing module and visualization module.With the demand of end to end monitoring,MUL-Monitor supports multi-management-area,and takes the monitoring mechanism of combining active and passive end to end monitoring.The test and tryout indicate that this system meets the basic requirements of multicast network and applications monitoring.
