Abstract:Wind turbine with variable blade pitch adopts different running-status and different input output relationship at different wind speed. On the basis of theoretical aerodynamics, the static and dynamic characteristics of wind turbine are studied. Control methods of wind turbine with variable blade pitch at different wind speed are explored. According to the different running-status of variable blade pitch wind turbine, generator characteristic and pitch angle control system are designed. In matlab / simulink environment, the simulation system of variable blade pitch wind turbine for total statuses is built, as well as the simulation system experiments are made under the action of wind load which has the characters of uniformity, gust, gradualness and step. During the test, the responses of control method, output and parameter are identical with expectation. Test result confirms that the simulation system can accurately simulate working characteristic and different running-status of variable blade pitch wind turbine.
