Fason：一种图象快速分形压缩的改进算法

本文针对图象所具有的分形特性，充分挖掘子图象块和父块之间的相似性，提出了一种与传统方法完全不同的快速图象分形压缩算法--Fason算法。该算法在无明显质量下降的同时，对压缩速度有一定的提高。并且，Fason算法还能取消传统分形压缩算法中对域块池的空间需求。

Fason:A Novel Algorithm for Image Fractal Compression

By investigating the similarity between sub-image blocks with father-image blocks,the paper presents a novel image fractal compression algorithm-Fason, which has strategies different from other traditional methods. The algorithm can speed up the compression without quality loss. Moreover,Fason does not need the storage of domain blocks pool,which is necessarily for traditional algorithms.
