eBus:A Development Platform of Distributed Embedded Applications

There is a rapidly growing need for distributed embedded applications in the embedded system field.But it is very expensive and difficult to design a distributed embedded application in a traditional way.The Common Object Request Broker Architecture(CORBA) greatly improves the development efficiency of distributed applications.Many benefits of the CORBA platform also fit embedded applications,but some of its features are not suitable for distributed embedded applications.eBus is a high performance,configurable embedded CORBA platform.In this paper,the system framework of eBus is introduced,and the process of developing distributed embedded systems on eBus by an example of network management applications illustrated.
