摘    要:背景减除是低级计算机视觉和视频处理的关键技术之一. 本文提出一种新的背景减除算法, 该算法将局部纹理信息和颜色信息联合起来表示背景, 并借鉴了混合高斯模型的思想, 采用多个模式描述背景模型. 为了更充分地描述纹理信息, 本文改进了LBP (Local binary pattern)算子. 实验结果表明, 本文提出的算法性能在绝大多数情况下优于现有其他算法.

Abstract:Background subtraction is one of the key techniques in computer vision and video processing. A new background subtraction algorithm is proposed in this paper, which combines local texture and color information to depict background and adopts the idea of mixture of Gaussian that uses multiple modes to represent background model. In order to represent texture better, LBP is modified. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm has better performance than other ones in most cases.
