A Approach for the Vectorization of Printed Map

To get appropriate electronic vector maps are often expensive and difficult during the development of a small and low cost GIS. After introduced the principles and common methods of raster map vectorization, this paper puts forward a fast simple method to get appropriate vector map from printed maps by R2V, which has high practical value in small GIS applications.
