As a key material embodiment,a residence reflects the mode of human life.The design of a living room plays a significant role in designing a residence.With the improvement of social material,people’s life styles have be diversified,while the current residential room fails in meeting the requirements of people on life styles.This paper makes systematic and detailed exposition and analysis on development of domestic residential room,development of life style influencing the residential room,and key problems of current residential market in China,with a purpose of providing some enlightenment to the design of living room in future.
