| Abstract: | The environment is an important element inthe procedure of developing an expert sys-tem.In this paper,the status and feature of the hardware and software for developing ex-pert system are analysed,the structure and character of the shell,as well as the method ofselecting a shell,are discussed.Finally,the environment of developing chemical engi-neering expert systems is explored. |
