工程化学数据库元数据标准的制定

摘    要:元数据是关于数据的数据。元数据对于数据共享具有重要作用。本文分析了国内外元数据的发展状况,从工程化学数据库存在的基本问题出发,针对工程化学数据的特点,并参考国内外通用的元数据标准,提出了工程化学数据库元数据设计方案,并对其各部分的内容和功能进行了比较详细的介绍。

Abstract:Metadata, commonly defined as "data about data" , is a structured information set that describes the content, quality, condition, availability and other characteristics of data. In order to make up the metadata standard for Engineering Chemistry Database ( ECDB) , the author analyze most of the current international metadata standards carefully. Our Standard not only focuses on Engineering Chemistry data sharing but also aims at solving the existed problems of the Engineering Chemistry Database. The metadata standard we established includes management, identification, contents, quality, and distribution of information or data.
