| Abstract: | This paper reports that the molecular weight distribution control in polyethyleneterephthalate based upon model prediction,pattern recognition and on-line expert sys-tem has successfully been materialised for the first time at a polyester plant in China yield-ing as it does tangible technical and economic results. |
