| Abstract: | Since polycarbodiimides were first synthesized in 1960′s, the synthesis methods and application of them have developed fa stly. Compared with phenolic resin and epoxy resin, polycarbodiimides have good heat resistance, electrically insulating properties and mechanical properties. T his paper generally introduces the development process of their synthesis method s, as well as their application such as coatings, crosslinking agents, foam and elastomers, hydrolytic degradation stabilizer and enforcement etc. |
