摘    要:描述了气体辅助注射成型的工艺过程及熔体充填和气体穿入的数学模型,采用有限元/有限差分/控制体积法计算充填阶段的压力场和温度场,确定两类移动边界—熔体前沿和熔体/气体边界。并对典型制件进行模拟以验证模型的可行性。

Abstract:The Gas Assisted Injection Molding (GAIM) process provides benefits in material saving and improved processing capabilities, but it is more complex than conventional injection molding because of the combination of the flow of low and high viscosity fluids. So CAE simulation software is expected to become an important tool to assist in part design, mold design and process evaluation. The process of GAIM and a mathematical model to describe the mold filling and the gas penetration during GAIM process were described. A hybrid Finite Element/Finite Difference/Control Volume method was employed to calculate the pressure and temperature field, to trace the moving boundaries. A typical part was simulated to demonstrate the applicability of the model.
