金属填充PTFE复合材料的摩擦磨损性能研究

摘    要:利用MHK-500型环块磨损实验机,对金属Cu、pb及Ni填充改性的PTEFE复合材料在干摩擦条件下与GCr15轴承钢对摩时的摩擦磨损性能进行了系统研究,并利用JEM-1200EX/S分析电子显微镜和光学显微镜对PTEE复合材料的磨屑及摩擦磨损表面进行了考察。摩擦磨损实验的结果表明,金属填料Cu、Pb及Ni大大改善了PTFE复合材料的耐磨性,PTFE复合材料的磨损量比纯PTFE降低了1-2个数量级

Abstract:The friction and wear properties of PTFE composites filled by Cu, Pb and Ni powders sliding against GCr15 bearing steel under dry friction condition were studied by using a MHK 500 Ring Block Wear Tester, and then the frictional surfaces and the wear debris of PTFE composites were exmained by using a JEM 1200 EX/S electron microscope and an optical microscope. The friction and wear results indicate that the wear resistance of PTFE composites was greatly improved by metal powders of Cu, Pb and Ni, and the wear of PTFE composites was decreased by 1 to 2 orders of magnitude compared with that of pure PTFE material. The wear reducing capability of Cu powder is the best, and that of Pb powder is the worst. Meanwhile, metal powders of Cu and Pb decrease the friction coefficient of PTFE composites, but Ni powder increases the friction coefficient. The investigation of SEM and optical microscope indicates that metal powders of Cu, Pb and Ni not only refrain the banded structure of PTFE from destruction, but also enhance the adherence of transfer films with counterfaces, so they greatly improve the friction and wear properties of PTFE composites.
