Abstract:This paper discusses the deformation way of expanded cushioning material and the variation law for material cushioning character under different droping height and different cushion thickness form the analysis of the curve in American Military Standard Handbook ,Points out that the minimum cushioning coefficient is determined by compress stress and bend stress of the material and the essential reason causing the minimum cushioning coefficient variation is the damping characteristic.
