符号学视阈下的智能手机应用程序图标视觉分析

摘    要:目的在符号学视阈下,对智能手机应用程序(APP)图标进行视觉分析与研究,并对不同类型图标的设计实践提供必要参考和建议。方法从符号学的理论视角出发,借用符号学家皮尔斯的符号分类理论,结合大量实例,对APP的创意设计进行分类研究。结论基于符号学的基本观点,通过对图标样式的案例分析,探索3种类型的APP图标与其表意及传播方式之间的对应关系,归纳比较三者在图标特征、构成方式、认知途径与认知特点等方面的异同,从而为智能手机APP图标设计实践提供参考。

Abstract:Analysis and researches of APP icon style of the smart phone are carried out, and some references and suggestions for the design of different types of icons are provided from the semiotic perspective. Based on the theories of semiotics, the creative design of mobile phone APP icon is classified through analyzing a lot of examples by the theory of Peirce, a semiologist. It studies the relationship between expressive and communication means of three kinds of APP icons through the analysis of a large number of examples. The similarities and differences among the icon characteristics, mode of composition, cognitive approach and characteristics are researched in order to provide reference for the design practice of APP icon, so as to provide the necessary reference for the mobile APP icon design practice.
