Analysis of Urban Public Facilities Design Based on Regional Characteristics

The work aims to explore the integration and innovation of urban public facilities design on regional characteristics. Based on the basic concept of urban public facilities, t the important role of public facilities in the city was analyzed from the perspectives of practical functions, decorative aesthetic functions and cultural inheritance functions. Then, the important significance of public facilities to urban construction was discussed, and the great value of the public facilities in urban construction was summed up. In the design of urban public facilities, the dialectical analysis on specific embodiment of regional characteristics was carried out and the specific embodiment was fully investigated from the regional historical elements, regional cultural elements, regional material elements in the design of urban public facilities to give specific cases. Finally, design ideas and strategies of future public facility designers were discussed from the macro perspective. Urban public facilities are important embodiment of a city''s culture, economy, folklore and characteristics.
