目的探究现代家具设计中的几何形态构成及应用。方法从几何形态家具设计发展历程谈起,结合点、线、面、体4个几何形态家具的基本构成要素,对现代家具设计中独立组合、复合组合、外部加工组合3大几何形态构成进行分析,并配合钢管椅、几类家具的设计案例进行论证。结论几何形态家具设计简约时尚,十分符合现代人对舒适、快捷生活方式的追求,但在具体的应用中必须紧密贴合基本构成要素,灵活进行设计,使几何形态家具在具备简洁造型的同时形成内涵丰富、构造整齐的艺术设计作品,为人们的生活增添情趣与智慧。
