| Abstract: | The classification, various uses and the current industrial situation of calcium carbonate are summarized. The rheological and transfer behavior in multiple phases system during synthesizing calcium carbonate, the nucleation mechanism, morphology control and the theory of nucleation and growth of calcium carbonate are discussed. The surface treatment and mechanism of calcium carbonate powder are also discussed. The property required for the special calcium carbonate used in high\|quality cigarette paper is introduced. |
