As an important region of the birthplace of Huxiang culture,Hunan has a rich variety of types of folk art,which symbolizes the cultural wealth accumulated by its ancestors and represents its passed prosperity.There was a time when the charm of folk art gradually faded away from people and some types of it even disappeared from the world.However,since the 18th national congress of the CPC,the government has put great importance upon the inheritance and protection of the wonderful traditional culture at the national level.The government also has actually taken actions to ensure the continuation and development of the traditional culture.And now it's our turns to seize the opportunity of this era to protect,inherit,and develop our folk art,which is an integral part of the traditional culture,to make sure that its brightness can be resurgent.
