摘    要:在SAN环境中实现了一种基于块级别的自适应分级存储系统THVS.该系统使用随机的虚拟空间组织方式,能够很好地适应物理设备的增加和删除;并且通过元数据服务器对磁盘各区域进行访问频率统计,使读写频繁的数据集中保存在性能最好的设备中.实验结果表明,存储系统中的热点区域一般是比较稳定的,而实现了设备间的数据动态调整后,对虚拟盘的平均访问响应时间可缩短23%.

Abstract:This paper proposes a self-adaptive hierachical storage management system (THVS) in the storage area network (SAN). THVS uses a random pattern to organize logical space, so that it can easily handle the situation of device adding or removal. It also records accessing frequency of different disk regions to migrate the hot regions to the best devices. The experiments show that the hot regions in the storage system are quite steady, and after the dynamic adjusting between devices, the average response time of virtual disks can be reduced by 23%.
