Research on Informatization of Engineering Graphics Course

On the base of analyzing the corresponding subject and technique of engineering graphics, especially, the development and application of the computer graphics, advanced design and manufacture technique, it is indicated that the reform of applying the information technique is the developmental trend of engineering graphics. The theory, teaching material and the curriculum system, teaching methods of engineering graphics, which are seasoned with the developmental trend, are discussed in detail. The ideas are presented, which combine engineering graphics with design and computer graphics and put the describing and modeling of the product information and the visualization of the engineering information into the whole teaching of engineering graphics.
